      You value yourself the older you are. You realize how much you have learned in your life up to now. You have many people coming to you for advise because they know you’re mature and wise. You are considered a teacher to many, as you are able to help them in their lives because you have experienced many things. You walk proudly as you have created a lifetime of memories and good feelings for yourself and others. Breathe in and feel the sensation of contentment. You are one of the lucky ones who knows how to take care of your mind, body and soul . Your body is healthy, your thoughts are positive because you delete the negative ones, and you feel light on your feet with a bit of a jump in your step.

     You appreciate yourself more and more the older you get. You see that getting older is something to celebrate each and everyday. You no longer take things for granted. You feel better and better and lighter and lighter because you have learned not to sweat the small stuff. You no longer hold yourself back because of your age because you feel vital and strong. You are holding the keys to your house and have just opened your front door. As you walk in there is a loud roar of SURPRISE! You are flooded with excitement and a wonderful feeling of love fills your entire body. Your eyes skim around the room and you see about 100 balloons in the most beautiful colors - blue, green, gold, orange, red, purple, yellow and a gigantic silver metallic one with a huge happy face saying,” Happy Birthday.”

     You see so many smiles and you feel as if you won the lottery, and you did. In this moment, you realize you have everything you have ever wanted in your life. You are beaming and your friends are saying that you’ve never looked more radiant. You now hear a chorus of Happy Birthday and can smell the aroma of chocolate as a beautiful large chocolate cake with your favorite frosting is placed in front of you on a table.

     You no longer are concerned about aging. As you gaze into the flames of the candles your eyes begin to feel relaxed and grateful for your life that you have created for yourself. Everyone is clapping and you are now asked to make a wish—and you wish for another year because you now celebrate getting older. With glee, you take a deep breath, filling your lungs to capacity and easily blow out every single candle with one breath. With gusto and with no inhibitions you take your finger and sweep it across the frosting and put your finger right into your mouth, Mmmmmm! You say to yourself, with pride.

     Happy Birthday to me, there is no one else I’d rather be! I’m only getting happier and more serene with every passing year.
